cuelane
Your work. Your space.

Privacy, in
plain words.

EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 5, 2026

Rehearsal is personal. Here is what Cuelane stores, what leaves your device, and what you control.

Who is responsible

Cuelane is provided by Andrei Fedoseev. For privacy requests, access, correction or deletion, contact support@denary.store and include “Cuelane privacy” in the subject. We may ask for reasonable information to verify account ownership, but never your Apple password.

What stays on your device

Your local scripts, drafts, bookmarks, practice history and downloaded voices stay on your device. PDF and photo text extraction takes place on-device. Microphone audio is processed locally for cues; Cuelane does not record, save or upload it. Speech recognition requires on-device support for your language. Manual cues do not need microphone access. Your operating system may include app files in its device backups according to your settings.

Optional cloud features

When you select AI preparation, we send the script text, title and language through our API to OpenAI to identify roles and lines. AI voices send the line text, language and voice choice. We do not send source photos or microphone audio. Generated results are cached on our server for up to 30 days to avoid repeated charges. We disable optional response storage at OpenAI. Its standard abuse-monitoring retention may still apply, generally up to 30 days, subject to its legal and security exceptions.

Account, usage and purchases

Sign in with Apple gives us a stable Apple account identifier. We store a derived account ID, hashed session tokens, encrypted Apple authorization credentials, monthly feature usage and verified subscription records. We do not request your name or email during Apple sign-in. Apple processes payment; we do not receive card details. Usage counts enforce allowances and protect the service from abuse, not advertising or behavioral profiling.

Backups, support and website

Choosing Save a cloud backup uploads your library, including scripts, role settings and practice history, to your private account. It remains until replaced or the account is deleted. Exported backup files remain wherever you save or share them. If you email support, we receive your email address and the message you choose to send. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable legal obligations; you can request its deletion. This website has no advertising, analytics cookies or cross-site tracking. Infrastructure may process IP addresses and technical request metadata for delivery and security. Web-server diagnostic logs are retained for up to 14 days. API diagnostic logs are limited to 15 MB per container and removed when that container is replaced. Logs are configured not to include script bodies or authorization credentials.

Service providers and international processing

We use hosting infrastructure for the API, database and recovery backups, OpenAI for the AI actions you choose, and Apple for sign-in and purchases. Providers may process data outside your country under their applicable safeguards and terms. OpenAI API data is not used to train its models by default. We do not sell personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

Retention and deletion

Session tokens expire after 30 days. Account records, usage and optional cloud backups remain while your account is active; cached AI outputs expire after 30 days. Delete your cloud account from Settings > Your account in the app. Active account data is removed immediately. An encrypted Apple authorization token can remain temporarily in a retry queue while we finish revoking access. Encrypted disaster-recovery backups expire within 7 days; deleted data is not returned to active use. Clear the local library separately to remove device scripts and downloaded voices. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Your choices and rights

You can use local rehearsal without cloud features, deny or revoke microphone and speech permissions, export your library, and delete your cloud account. We process necessary account and service data to provide the features you request, and limited technical data to keep the service secure. Optional permissions and cloud actions are under your control. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights. We do not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Children and changes

Cloud accounts are not intended for children under 13 or the applicable minimum age for independent consent in their country. A parent or guardian should contact us if a child has provided personal data. We update this page when our practices change and show the effective date above.
